Our course is designed for students who already have an understanding of the basics of programming, preferably knowledge of OOP principles and at least one programming language. For very green beginners this course, unfortunately, is not suitable.
If you:
- You studied basic programming principles alone or at university, and are ready to seriously study the chosen language.
- already working as a programmer and want to get an additional specialty
- Switcher from a non-technical IT-specialty
This course is for you!
What our students are learning in the course
We created our training course on the basis of real-life projects. Assignments are lined up so that students move from simple to more complex gradually. If a task isn’t easy for a student, a mentor can help with it.
Swift
Swift is now the primary development language for iOS. Recently, Apple refused to use Objective C, and all development for “apple” devices moved to Swift. There are separate Swift courses, but the course from FoxmindEd will give you a lot more. You’ll master the syntax of the language enough to create apps within your class assignments, as well as get skills in working with frameworks, external libraries, and the web.
UIKit
This framework for creating iOS mobile apps will demonstrate what an imperative approach to creating interfaces is.
SwiftUI
And this newest framework takes a declarative approach. Once you’ve mastered it in the course, you’ll be able to solve complex problems when creating interfaces in simple ways.
External Libraries
There’s no need to reinvent the wheel when everything has already been invented. In this course you’ll learn how to use third-party libraries when creating applications.
Other
In addition, you’ll learn the principles of how an app interacts with the network, Appstore requirements, the app lifecycle, and much more that comes in handy for a developer.
Portfolio and job placement after course completion
During the course, you will create apps for Apple devices. Those students who make it to the end of the course will have at least one, but rather 4-5 iOS apps in their portfolio. And the most persistent will be able to brag about their apps in the AppStore.
We offer some students to work directly in the company. Although with such a portfolio it won’t be hard to find a job at all. Dozens and hundreds of our graduates can attest to this.
